What really speaks for and what to bread from their own bread maker.
Pro:
- control over the ingredients
I can decide for themselves what mixes with what ingredients I use, or bake at all, in its recipe. Particularly for allergy sufferers (of which I am not as lucky) a big advantage
- costs
1 kg whole wheat bread from their own bread machine costs only 66 cents. In addition there are energy costs. What are I can not say in various forums I have values between 10 and 20 cents read
- energy
The bread machine takes much less energy than the oven, as we know, must have a lot mitheizen air.
- availability
Within of 3 hours I have fresh bread. Even on weekends and holidays
- environmental
Rather once a month, a supply of cake mixes now than every other day go to the bakery. For me, however, no argument, as I only have 2 minutes walk to the bakery
- Fun & pride
own bread but tastes best - and fun to bake too!
Cons:
- investment
I had to first invest € 60 in the bread machine. In my use (single household with about 1 time per week visit) I will need about half a year until the price paid for added.
- time
the bread machine you should not be left unattended, could finally pass the dough and drop on the heater and that could end badly. However, since I work independently from home, I see no problem with it every few minutes to the baking machine.
- aesthetics
bread from the baking machine is box-shaped and does not look particularly beautiful. A traditional loaf of bread just has something too.
- Cocooning
Another reason less to leave the house. And missed the gossip at the bakery you look.
- amount
A 750-gram bread (maximum size) is for me ok as a single. A family with several children might need to bake several times a day and that's not easy for many feasible.
- place
Another unit is more in the kitchen, in my case in the posts as soon as more devices and gadgets in my office.
